Stylistically Influenced By Orlando

english\\\\Narziß had to celebrate Orlando, the sempiternal biography of a trasgender aristocrat written by the pedantic Virginia Woolf. One of our favorite parts of the book is when after entire days of dream, the ambassador Orlando wakes up converted into a woman and decides to abandone the nobility to join the uncivilized turkish gypsies. But eventually Orlando's cultural differences float to the surface, and start to arouse the distrust of the vagrants. For Orlando enjoys nature in a way that they are not able to accept. Whereas the gypsies jump for joy before food in sight, Orlando becomes paralysed before sunsets. Whereas Orlando finds the beauty of the sensations and the value of the possessions, the gypsies discover the futility of the idealization and the misery of the attachment. Before they lynch her, Orlando goes back to her sophisticated life in England, to her more than 470-bedroom mansion which for the gypsies is nothing compared to the world. Intriguely, both forces are always present in our parties. Let's take Sono's case as an example: the Narziß's image came back to her aristocratic life in Tokyo after a couple of months wandering with the gypsies in Asia Minor, and to top it all off dressed as a man, very Orlando. And one more example: the filmstar Tadanobu Asano came back from his road-movie in the country side of Japan to say ciao to his metropolitan friends at Narziß. Among them were the funky TFR's image Nakao, NHK's Tiffany Godoy, Benshaman's Benjamin Skepper, editor Martin Webb, French writer Isabelle Nobouta, Dazed&Confused's Sakiko, Sister's Fuyuri, Nacci's Natsuko, drag queen Vivienne Sato, and our adorable gypsy Stefanko from Dolomites... together but not scrambled, well, if corridors could only talk (:::::

日本語\\\\Narzißは、ペダンティックな作家ヴァージニア・ウルフによるトランス・ジェンダーの貴族の伝記「オーランドー」を讃えるパーティをした。僕たちのお気に入りのシーンの１つに、長い眠りの後、大使としてトルコに派遣されていたオーランドーが女性として目覚め、貴族としての身分を捨て、野蛮なジプシーの一員となる場面がある。だが結局、文化的な違いが表面化し、ジプシーに対する不信感がつのり始める。オーランドーの自然の愛で方は、ジプシーたちと大きく違い、ジプシーたちにとっては到底容認出来るようなものではなかった。ジプシーたちが食べ物を目にして飛び上がって喜ぶ一方で、オーランドーは夕陽に感動してその場から動けない。また、オーランドーが感覚や財産に価値を見いだす一方で、ジプシーは理想主義や執着心を無益で惨めなものと考えた。結局、ジプシーたちがオーランドーをリンチにかける前に、オーランドーは英国の上流社会、つまり470以上もの寝室がある邸宅（世界を自分たちのものと考えるジプシーたちにとっては何の価値もないもの）に戻って行った。面白いことに、似たような例を僕たちのパーティでも見ることができる。例えば、NarzißのイメージSonoは、数ヶ月間ジプシーとAsia Minorを彷徨った後、東京の貴族的生活に戻ってきた。その上、まさにオーランドーのように男のような服装で現れた。、また、映画俳優の浅野忠信は、山奥での撮影から東京に戻り、メトロポリタンな友達に会いにやってきた。ゲストには、ファンキーなTFRのイメージNakao, NHKの Tiffany Godoy, BenshamanのBenjamin Skepper, エディターのMartin Webb,フランスのライターIsabelle Nobouta, Dazed&ConfusedのSakiko, SisterのFuyuri, NacciのNatsuko, drag queen Vivienne Satoと僕らの愛すべきジプシーDolomitesのStefanko... みんなイチャイチャするというより寄り添って仲良く楽しんでた、まぁ、もし通路が喋れたらどう言うかは分からないけどね (:::::

español\\\\Narziß tenia que celebrar Orlando, la sempiterna biografia de un aristocrata transgenero escrita por la pedante Virginia Woolf. Una de nuestras partes favoritas del libro es cuando tras dias enteros de suenio, el embajador Orlando se despierta convertido en mujer y decide abandonar la nobleza para unirse a los incivilizados gitanos turcos. Mas eventualmente las diferencias culturales de Orlando salen a flote, y comienzan a suscitar el recelo de los trashumantes. Pues Orlando goza la naturaleza de una manera en que ellos no son capaces de aceptar. Mientras que los gitanos brincan de emocion ante comida a la vista, Orlando se paraliza ante los ocasos. En donde Orlando encuentra la belleza de las sensaciones y el valor de las posesiones, los gitanos descubren la futilidad de la idealizacion y la mezquindad de la querencia. Antes de que la linchen, Orlando regresa a su sofisticada vida en Inglaterra, a su mansion de mas de 470 habitaciones que para los gitanos no es nada a comparacion del mundo. Curiosamente, en nuestras fiestas siempre estan presentes ambas fuerzas. Pongamos el caso de Sono como ejemplo: la imagen de Narziß regreso a su aristocratica vida en Tokyo luego de un par de meses deambulando con los gitanos en Asia Menor, y para remate vestida de hombre, muy Orlando. Y un ejemplo mas: la estrella de cine Tadanobu Asano regreso de su road movie en el interior del Japon a decir ciao a sus amigos capitalinos en Narziß. Entre ellos estuvieron la imagen funky de TFR Nakao, Tiffany Godoi de NHK, Benjamin Skepper de Benshaman, el editor Martin Webb, la escritora francesa Isabelle Nobouta, Sakiko de Dazed and Confused, Fuyuri de Sister, Natsuko de Nacci, drag queen Vivienne Sato y nuestro adorable gitano Stefanko de Dolomites... juntos pero no revueltos, bueno, si tan solo hablaran los corredores (:::::
